Hi,  I’m Andy Maddocks ex Corporal of A sqn,1 RTR.  I am planning for April 2011 that me and my dog Max complete 14 ten mile walks during the month, whilst being sponsored , all monies going to H4H. The 14 days are my 14 days off during my 5 week shift pattern.  On speaking to members of D sqn on their parade in Liverpool, I realised how hard they had worked out there without the luxury of days off.  Hence my idea was born, doing something worthwhile on my days off to help this superb charity.  All the walks will be around the North West and one in North Wales.  I have already got a few Tankies on board who have volunteered to walk with me on one or two of the walks, and Major Colin Hepburn at RHQ RTR is also publicising the event via the regimental website.
